Rub-off leather is a two-layer dyed leather:

• the bottom layer is one color (usually lighter or contrasting),
• the top layer is darker, waxed or dyed so that it wears off over time.

Rub-off leather gives:

• character and depth – the furniture looks richer and more "alive";
• a natural aging effect – over time, the appearance becomes even more pronounced;
• a softer feel – this type of leather is often more elastic and pleasant to the touch.

Important:

• The top layer may wear out faster in areas of intensive use (armrests, seat).
• The color may become uneven, but this is part of the intended effect.
• Gentle care is required – do not use aggressive cleaning agents that can remove the color too quickly.
